Celebrity Big Brother recap: Spoilers from February 7 episode

A new episode of Celebrity Big Brother 2 aired on Thursday, February 7. This was Season 2 Episode 10, with just seven people left competing during the winter 2019 installment.

The Celebrity Big Brother recap begins with a review of what happened during the last cycle. Tamar Braxton won the Head of Household Competition and put the duo of Tom Green and Kato Kaelin on the block. The Power of Veto didn’t change anything and Kato was evicted by a 5-0 vote.

February 7 Celebrity Big Brother recap

With Kato out of the game, Kandi Burruss began working on getting Tom on her side of the house. That side was small, with just Dina Lohan outside the powerful alliance of Lolo Jones, Natalie Eva Marie, and Ricky Williams. Where Tamar stood was anyone’s guess. Tom appeared hesitant, fearing Kandi was working with the athletes.

New Head of Household Competition

Omarosa, who played with the 2018 Celebrity Big Brother cast, was in the backyard to host the HOH Competition. The challenge is one that has been used during the summer season. Houseguests had to get inside oversized dice and roll them around until a predetermined number was showing on the correct side. It was done in rounds.

In the first round, Tom Green beat Ricky Williams. Tom then beat Lolo Jones in the second round. In the third round, Natalie Eva Marie beat Dina Lohan. When Natalie beat Kandi Burruss in round four, that left just Tom and Natalie to battle it out for the HOH. In the end, Tom Green was crowned as the new Head of Household. He became the first person to win the HOH twice this winter.

Time for CBB2 scramble-mode

Lolo, Ricky, Tamar, and Natalie were all worried after Tom won the HOH Competition. For them, it was a worst-case scenario, as they each had worries about what would happen next. Kandi celebrated with Tom and Dina seemed to understand that him winning was a great result for her personal game. It appeared that the house was split right down the middle again, with Tamar straddling the middle. Or at least she was trying to do that.

Tom met with Lolo, Ricky, and Natalie about what his plans were going to be this week. He told each of them that they were going to be safe, but he stated in a Diary Room session that he was targeting Ricky for the week. Tom also told Ricky and Lolo that they might be used as pawns. Ricky gave Tom a counter-proposal, stating that Tom would be safe if he protected and worked with Ricky, Lolo, and Natalie this week. Ricky wasn’t shown naming who Tom should nominate instead of him.

Celebrity Big Brother recap: Nomination Ceremony

There was a lot of drama in the house as Tom prepared to host another Nomination Ceremony. Lolo and Natalie were not pleased with the situation. It seemed that Tamar was sliding toward the side of the house with Kandi and Tom, but it might have just been because of who was in power. When Kandi and Tom spoke, she warned him that not nominating both Lolo and Natalie could lead to one of them winning the Power of Veto and saving the other one.

At the Nomination Ceremony, Tom nominated Ricky Willams and Natalie Eva Marie for eviction.
