Last week we saw Jill fall for Andy, the police officer, while Christy accidentally made Nora into a meme. Will we find out what happens next on Mom tonight, February 7?

In important Mom news, CBS revealed they were happy to renew the show for two more seasons. Deadline reports Seasons 7 and 8 will continue to star Anna Faris and Allison Janney as Christy and Bonnie Plunkett. The hold up on the announcement was allegedly due to the two actress’ contract negotiations. With it being CBS’s third highest-rated comedy, the network knew they had to do whatever it took to keep the show going.

CBS’ Thursday night comedy block has been a consistent performer for years. But tonight, Feb. 7, the lineup has been disrupted by Big Brother: Celebrity Edition airing at 9/8c in place of new episodes of Mom and Fam.

If you missed last week’s episode, don’t sweat it. Check out our recap here.

More from CBS

Mom is set to return on Feb. 14, for what must be a Valentine’s Day episode. The title, “Sparkling Banter and a Failing Steel Town,” could really mean anything, so there’s no telling what could happen. Based on what we last saw, I’m guessing we will see if Andy is going to stick around in Jill’s life.

The synopsis CBS shared for the episode doesn’t confirm my prediction but reveals the basic plot outline.

Mom, “Sparkling Banter and a Failing Steel Town” episode synopsis

"When Christy is the only one without plans on Valentine’s Day, Bonnie takes her on a mother-daughter date. Also, Marjorie’s attempt to have a quiet night in is ruined when everyone calls on her for help."

If everyone else is busy, Jill must be going out with someone, so I guess we will see if it’s Andy. Adam must be working at the bar that night, otherwise, I’d expect Bonnie would want to be with him. Is she feeling uncharacteristically sympathetic for her daughter or is Bonnie just that afraid to spend Valentine’s Day alone?
