Feb. 7 was a good night for many networks airing new episodes. However, it wasn’t perfect for all. Here are the Thursday TV ratings for Supernatural, Legacies, Grey’s Anatomy, and more.

The CW and CBS had strong nights on February 7. Meanwhile, ABC and NBC were mixed. Here’s a look at the Thursday TV ratings for the night.

Supernatural took over fourth place from FOX with its 300th episode special. Announcing John Winchester would return was certainly a good thing. While FOX did have reruns, the network still tends to do better than The CW. However, Gotham‘s reruns couldn’t hold up against the Supernatural special.

Supernatural saw a 28% uptick in the demo and 17% uptick in the total audience. This is a season high for the series. In fact, it matches the demo from the Season 13 finale and the audience is the highest since the Scooby-Doo crossover last March.

The network continued the uptick with Legacies. The episode with three wish worlds (similar to Supernatural‘s single wish world) saw a 25% uptick in the demo and a 13% uptick in the total audience.

Meanwhile, CBS had a good night. The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon both saw upticks in both ratings between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m., while Big Brother: Celebrity Edition continued that the hour later. Only S.W.A.T. was down in the last timeslot of the night, which continues the worry that the sophomore series won’t be renewed.

Things weren’t as great for NBC. While Brooklyn Nine-Nine saw an uptick in both metric, Will & Grace was down in the total audience, albeit by less than 1%. The demo was up by almost 4% for the series that already has a new season in the bag. Law & Order: SVU saw downward ticks in both metrics. (The Titan Games also saw a downward tick to start the night).

In fact, the 10 p.m. slot was only okay for ABC, with How to Get Away with Murder ticking up in the demo. The total audience fell considerably after an excellent upward tick the previous week.

That downward fall in the audience had been a continuation from falls throughout the night. Both Grey’s Anatomy and A Million Little Things dipped, but not at the same level as How to Get Away with Murder. It’s not a worry for the feel-good dramedy in the 9 p.m. slot, as it was renewed earlier this week, and Grey’s is likely to be renewed. However, eyes are on the legal drama that finishes up TGIT.
