Shadowhunters: 10 greatest Save Shadowhunters movement moments

We’re continuously impressed with Shadowhunters fans’ efforts to fight for the series. Here are 10 of the greatest Save Shadowhunters movement moments.

When Freeform announced in June 2018 that Shadowhunters would conclude with a two-episode finale called Shadowhunters: The Final Hunt, and would not return for a fourth season, fans around the world banded together to fight for the show’s return.

Save Shadowhunters efforts began as a way to find the show a new home and get the attention of Freeform, Netflix, Constantin Films and anyone else who could potentially move the show forward, but it quickly grew into a movement online and in cities around the world — and in outer space (seriously).

What’s made the Save Shadowhunters movement even more special is the support it receives from the Shadowhunters cast itself, many of whom have donated to the fundraisers, participated in promoting the billboards, and celebrate Save Shadowhunters accomplishments with fans.

On the day of the Season 3B premiere, cast members Kat McNamara, Harry Shum Jr., Emeraude Toubia and Matthew Daddario revealed that they have their own contribution to the legacy of Shadowhunters: a dedicated bench in Central Park for the ShadowFam.

Fans have worked collaboratively to raise money for charity, support the cast and crew during filming of The Final Hunt, work to educate other groups and organizations about the show’s impact, and be a resource for fans who were upset or discouraged by the cancellation.
