Tuesday TV ratings: The Gifted season finale ticks up, Roswell at dangerous low [Feb. 26]
The Gifted wrapped its season on a high in the Feb. 26 TV ratings but is it enough? Meanwhile, Tuesday TV ratings show Roswell, New Mexico hit a dangerously low point.
Tuesday night was a mixture of highs and lows on Feb. 26. Some of the shows that needed to tick upwards didn’t and others may have seen the upward tick a little too late. Here’s a look at the Tuesday TV ratings this week.
NBC had a bad night, with The Voice and World of Dance both down. The Voice saw a 16% drop in the demo ratings from its Monday night premiere (also down), although it was still the highest of the night. The 2% drop in the total audience to 10.55 million is still respectable but still probably not what the network wants to see.

- Thursday TV ratings: Grey’s Anatomy up, Walker Independence down
- Wednesday TV ratings: One Chicago mixed, Kung Fu down (November 9)
- Tuesday TV ratings: The Resident and Monarch down (November 8)
- Monday TV ratings: All American down, Quantum Leap up (Nov. 7)
- Weekend live TV ratings: Fire Country and FBI mixed
The drop continued with World of Dance, which had a special premiere taking over This Is Us and New Amsterdam. There likely weren’t many happy fans of the two scripted dramas! Despite the demo being the highest of the timeslot, it was a 17% decrease from its previous season finale, according to TV Series Finale.
The CW was another network that had a bad night. After a rerun of The Flash, Roswell came in at a dangerous season low. This could have been due to the rerun, as Legacies saw a dangerous series low point last week following a rerun of Supernatural. With a 23% drop in the demo and 13% drop in the total audience, the series will need to pick that back up for next week. The average is still on par with Charmed and Legacies, giving it a little bit of breathing room.
FOX’s night was mixed with two season (possibly series) finales. While the Lethal Weapon‘s season finale was down, The Gifted saw an uptick in the views. The Gifted‘s Tuesday TV ratings may not be good enough, as the show is already 40% down from last season in the demo and total audience. It’s in the second-to-last place across all FOX shows, which is never a good sign.
ABC and CBS had the best night of the night. While NCIS ticked down, it was by a small amount that was negligible for the total audience rating. FBI and NCIS: New Orleans both ticked up, so the network will be happy.
ABC saw an uptick in the ratings for almost all shows, with black-ish getting one of the best upticks of the whole night at 15% in the demo. The Kids Are Alright was the only show to see a small decrease in the audience, while The Rookie remained steady (although possibly not steady enough to be safe).
