Is Supernatural back tonight, Feb. 28?
If you’re tuning in for Supernatural on The CW tonight, I’m sorry to say that you’ll be disappointed. However, there’s some exciting news. It’s not long until the show returns!
Supernatural is a staple on Thursday nights now. It’s a show we all tune into The CW excitedly for. And you’ll notice tonight, Feb. 28, that the show isn’t on again. It wasn’t on last week, or the week before, or ever since the 300th episode.
Well, the wait for new episodes is almost over. While the series doesn’t have an episode tonight, it will be back next Thursday, Mar. 7. Yes, really!

The CW shows tend to take a break at some point this time of year. They need to if they want to avoid a break later on — or lots of smaller breaks while they catch up with filming. Because of the filming schedules, the show is still filming the final few episodes at this point of the year, so it needs time to do that.

When the show does return, this should mostly be it. There may be one more one-week break, but that’s it. You see, there are seven episodes left and eight weeks left to fill before iZombie takes over the 8 p.m. timeslot. So, there will either be a week off sometime during the next seven episodes or The CW will wrap a week early and bring a special.
Either way, this is the last week without the Winchesters. There’s a rerun of Charmed instead, likely as a way to build up more of the fanbase for the witchy show. We wish it was a rerun of the Winchester’s cases, but we’ll take this as the last week of the current Hellatus.
