There have been plenty of questions about the version of the movie we’ll be getting this month. Fans were outraged when Netflix UK shared a version that had about 30 seconds of the end cut out. However, it turns out there are two versions of the ending and the UK fans got the version with the emotional ending cut out.

However, Netflix U.S. fans are definitely getting the full version — the same version as Canadians and many others around the world. This was confirmed going into the release this month.
Based on the Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name, The Notebook tells the story of Noah and Allie. From two different social circles and classes, they should never work but they fall in love. Even time and manipulating mothers can’t possibly keep them apart.
Noah becomes the man that every girl dreams of having. The man who is willing to work to make a relationship successful. He knows that times will be tough and they’re both as stubborn as each other and that causes arguments. Yet, he makes it clear that he’s willing to work on their relationship because she is the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with.
Of course, it’s clear they end up doing that. When Allie gets dementia, Noah is there to tell the story to her every single day to help her remember their love. So sweet.
