Good Girls Season 1 left us with major cliffhangers for each of our lead women. What answers did we get in the Good Girls Season 2 premiere?

For the last 10 months or so, we’ve had plenty of questions about Good Girls. The first season finale left us with major cliffhangers for each of our lead women, whether it involved husbands learning the truth, couples getting back together, or the feds closing in. Good Girls Season 2 premiered in style, quickly getting to the answers.

So, what questions did we get answers to? What information did we gain from the premiere episode? Here are the five questions the Season 2 premiere answered from the Season 1 finale.

5. Did Beth pull the trigger?

There was one major question we all had: would Beth pull the trigger? The last we saw of her, Rio had given her the gun and offered her the chance to shoot him. A beaten Dean was beside him, making it clear that Rio could hurt Beth if she needed to.

So, would Beth do it?

The trailers for the second season sort of gave us the answer. Rio kept popping up in them, making it clear that she didn’t pull the trigger. So what happened?

It was Rio who pulled the trigger. On Dean! Yes, he shot Dean in the chest, but don’t worry too much. Dean made it through surgery. Whether Rio expected Dean to survive is unknown but that was how the story very quickly played out.
