With Moon rescued, how long will it be before she gets her memories back? Find out how to watch the new episodes of Star vs the Forces of Evil right here!

Queen Moon is finally back in her rightful home on Mewni with Star! But she doesn’t remember anything about where she came from. The new episode of Star vs the Forces of Evil may be titled “Moon Remembers” but will it really be so easy for her to regain her memories? If so, I’m guessing it’s because the writers are hoping to wrap things up and usher in a new storyline, perhaps one involving Eclipsa’s monster husband.

Before I share the synopses for the upcoming episodes, let’s recap what happened in the premiere of Star vs the Forces of Evil’s final season. Star and Marco scoured the entire kingdom for Moon after her disappearance. All the time spent in the magical realm severely altered her mind and memories, making it impossible for her to return home of her volition.

Eventually, they catch wind of a Pie Carnival and there, Star notices the pie crust is exactly the same as the one Moon used to make. They follow the crumbs all the way to Pie Island where the Pie King had Moon imprisoned as his prized baker. There she was known as the “sky baker” because she literally fell from the sky and landed there. River, Star, and Marco rescue Moon and outrun the villainous Moon King with the aide of Fool Duke who helps them escape in a hot air balloon.

Back in Mewni, Eclipsa was settling in nicely to the new castle. Baby Meteora appears happy, although it would appear she may have a few memories of her former life (despite Eclipsa denying the possibility, those death stares she gave Marcos said otherwise). She has an entire team at work trying to chip away at Globgar’s prison of crystal.

This week, Disney is airing another two full-sized episodes, meaning we get an hour of brand new Star vs the Forces of Evil. By the looks of it, Disney is planning to air a full hour every weekend.

I am curious as to why Disney is doing it this way. While I love getting two new episodes a week (technically four with the differing segments) it almost feels like Disney is trying to rush through the last season.

The first episode will contain 3A and 3B titled “Moon Remembers” and “Swim Suit”, here is the official synopses from TVGuide:

"Moon is back, and Star wants to find the perfect time to tell her about Globgor; Star and Marco plan their beach day, but Eclipsa needs Star’s help with an unexpected problem."

The second episode will contain 4A and 4B titled “Ransomogram” and “Lake House Fever”. Unfortunately, we don’t have synopses for these two at the moment.
