Lifetime’s Mommy Madness weekend continues with Mommy’s Little Princess, the story about a little girl who is desperate to be a princess except Lizzie is more demon than royalty, here are her five most evil moments.

Mommy’s Little Princess is about a neglected young girl who is desperate to be special. So desperate, that when her adopted mother volunteers to get their DNA tested and she learns she’s from a royal lineage, she clings to the idea she might be a real princess.

The movie opens with a flashback to an even young Lizzie, our “princess”, being chastised and emotionally abused by her biological mom so we understand where her need to be special comes from. In present time, she actually lives with a loving adoptive mother and her boyfriend Greg, and Greg’s angsty teenage daughter, Allie.

None of it is enough for Lizzie, who doesn’t believe she has any value if she isn’t important. When the possibility of her being a German princess from the Wittleschbuam (no idea if I spelled this right but we’re going to pretend I did) lineage is raised, she enacts a series of crazy schemes to try and get to Germany and to orchestrate a marriage between her mother and the most eligible baron in the land!

As you can imagine, Lizzie stoops to nefarious lows to grant her dream come true, here are her 5 most evil acts.

5. Lizzie goes nuts with her mother’s credit card.

More from Drama

Plagued by frequent nightmares of her horrific upbringing, Lizzie often goes through her mother’s purse in the middle of the night to assure herself they still have money. She never takes any of the cash, she likes the security of counting it and holding it, knowing they won’t slip into poverty overnight.

Credit cards are different. Lizzie is young, she doesn’t understand (or care) how they work and believes it isn’t her mom’s money she’s spending when she goes on an extravagant online shopping spree to deck out her room in total princess-themed glory!
