The Children of Liberty have been running rampant throughout this season of Supergirl, but the show is about to bring in a character who could put all other villains on this show to shame. Lex Luthor will make his first appearance in tonight’s episode.
I’ve been hoping for a better storyline for Lena for a while now. She’s had some nice moments on the show, but along with those came a string of frustrating moments. Lena is hands down one of the smartest characters on the show. Brainy is a genius, but given the fact that he’s not human, it would almost be like comparing Alex’s physical strength to Kara’s. You just can’t compare them.

“O Brother, Where Art Thou?” will introduce Lex Luthor and it will also continue with The Elite’s story. Manchester Black clearly needs to be stopped, but what Lex is up to just might be more concerning. Will J’onn turn to rage to get the job done? He already seemed to be leaning that way in “Stand and Deliver.” We’ll also get a look at more of James’ personal life with his sister Kelly coming into town.
I’m hoping that Supergirl figures out exactly what it wants to do with Lena now that Lex will be in the mix. She’s made some bad decisions as of late, but it’s probably setting her up for a moment of redemption.
