It’s time to see whether or not the four couples will stay together after confronting each other with what has transpired over the last month on Temptation Island.

Time on Temptation Island has ended. Depending on whether or not the guys and gals in the relationships can deal with their soon-to-be-ex at the bonfires, there could be a chance the singles will never see their new flings again. Three of the four couples are in real trouble, and only two will face confrontation tonight.

Before the singles leave

Evan reassures Morgan everything is cool. Alternately, Javen lets Kayla know he’s running full speed back to Shari. John plays the middle ground and makes it seem like there is a remote chance of reuniting with Kady. Finally, Karl crushes Brittney by being extremely distant.

Kaci and Val say goodbye like Andie and Duckie. It’s awkward AF. Shari listens to Justin and is interested in him, but she’s ready for Javen. Conversely, Nicole feels like her entire world has changed because of Tyler, but wants to build the “friendship.” Last but not least, Kady and Dr. John are the only couple that actually look like a couple being forced to leave each other, with tears and frustration.

Llllllleet’s get ready to rumbleeeeeee.

Odds of success

Karl & Nicole

Deep in her heart, she is sure it will end. He thinks it won’t. Karl’s sitting when Nicole comes in, and they don’t even say hello to one another.

Opening with the pain he felt after seeing Nicole get in bed with another man, Karl admits to having sex with Brittney as a result. He’s uncertain about the future. She’s barely moved.

When it’s her turn to speak, however, the waterworks start. Being away from Karl allowed her to open up her heart, because their love is “surface level.” She says “if” they can stay together, they have to really be strong.

They both say they want to stay together! Walberg questions them, and then they really open up. She wants depth, whatever that means. Karl doesn’t understand how their relationship doesn’t have depth. It’s almost as if Karl is instigating, and Nicole was too intimidated to say what she wanted to the first go-around.

John & Kady

Kady looks at John expectantly, and he doesn’t even look up. This is not going to go well.

She cries, puts her hand on his thigh, and he holds her hand. Then says some stuff about self-respect and digging deep, but it’s surface level compared to how deep Dr. John got. Her closing argument is “necessary evil.”

John breaks down while talking about how she questioned his manhood, ability to be a father, his goodness as a man. He was destroyed by hearing her question him. His psyche was further crushed when he saw her with Dr. John. She rubs his back, and he’s stewing for sure. How he permitted physical contact is unfathomable. Through tears, she attempts to placate with complimentary platitudes, but coup de graces one second later with “you make me not want to have kids.” Oh, snap. No decision is shown, but that’s at least a TKO.
