Eclipsa might be in danger on an all-new episode of Star vs the Forces of Evil! It appears someone is trying to turn her into stone so Marco and Star must put on their detective hats to help her track down the culprit.

Eclipsa has plenty of naysayers in the Kingdom of Mewni, but stone-powers? Could it be Rhombulus? He and Eclipsa got into a pretty heated fight last week. Somehow I doubt the show is going to rehash it.

Maybe Eclipsa is facing off against a gorgon? They seem to be all the rage on television this week with no less than three different CW shows tackling the mythical beast. My other theory is someone wants to imprison Eclipsa alongside her monster husband.

In the second half of Episode 5, we’ll be checking in on River and Moon. Last time we saw them, they had left their crowns behind to go find a quiet place to settle down. River wanted to build a yurt. I wonder if Moon will begin to regret leaving the castle behind?

Ponyhead will return this week too in Episode 6! I’ll be happy to see her and Star reunited. Given the title of the episode is “The Ponyhead Show” I wonder if Ponyhead literally has a talk show now. It would be super fitting. She’s going to help Star increase Eclipsa’s popularity. Outside the monster population, she’s not very beloved with the Mewnis.

Apparently, this is a very Eclipsa-themed weekend, since Episode 6B will also feature her. During a planned dinner with the Spider Bite family, she runs late and Star is forced to keep them occupied. I’m not entirely sure, but I would assume the Spider Bite family is the family Princess Spiderbite comes from. Although her bite was healed in the episode, “Monster Bash”. I have a feeling that dinner is going to get awkward fast.

I’m 99% sure it is the princess’s family, the only reason I have pause is because of the spelling difference in her surname vs the episode’s official title.
