2. Annie tells Sadie a truth

Everything involving Rio and things with Boomer’s body aren’t the only secrets that need to come out in Good Girls Season 2, Episode 5. Annie has a secret of herself.

Sadie realizes that her dad has cheated on Nancy. She’s angry and upset. This is a girl who loves her stepmom and wants to see Nancy happy. Not only is she upset that the marriage is over, but she’s also upset that Greg has had an affair with someone – that someone has slept with a man with a pregnant wife.

Annie eventually decides that she needs to come clean about that. By the end of the episode, she tells Sadie that she was the one Greg was having an affair with.

It’s clear Sadie doesn’t know how to feel. She’s angry that Greg cheated on Nancy, but at the same time, this is her parents getting together. Part of her will naturally feel happy about that. To help sort out her feelings, she decides she’s staying with Nancy and goes to school.

Annie’s life is starting to fall apart. Not only is she losing her daughter, but her relationship with her sister is struggling, especially after realizing that Beth and Rio hooked up.

1. Mary Pat tells Agent Turner everything

You didn’t know who was actually talking to Agent Turner, did you? After finding out that “daddy” had been chopped up and put in the freezer, Mary Pat has no choice but to cover her tracks.

Turner places her in a motel room that’s way too small for Mary Pat and her four children, but he doesn’t care. He needs her to talk and she sings like a canary. Of course, she pins everything on the three women. She isn’t willing to go to jail and leave her children without any parent.

When the body goes missing, Turner is angry. He decides it’s time to take Mary Pat to jail. She’ll be the one that goes down for everything. That soon makes Mary Pat change her tune. She has one more card up her sleeve: one of the women is married to a cop.

I’ll admit that I’m surprised Turner didn’t know this. He’d done his research into Beth, knowing where she lived. Surely, he would know about the other two, including who their partners or children were. Wouldn’t he have known that Stan was a cop? He doesn’t seem like a great FBI agent right now, and maybe that’s a good thing. Could our resident good girls outsmart him?
