Brienne and Jamie

Sorry, Brienne and Tormund shippers, but this one is written in the stars. Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) and Jaime Lannister (Nicolaj Coster-Waldau) have an understanding that transcends any sexual relationship.

Unlike Jaime’s (incestuous and co-dependent) relationship with his evil twin sister Cersei, his connection to Brienne makes him want to be a better man. She’s been there for his journey from douchecanoe to decent human being. Like many other couples on this list, they have a mutual respect that powers their interactions and cuts through all the bullsh*t.

We can credit much of Jaime’s maturation and development to Brienne’s positive influence. She truly sees him and what he’s capable of and, in turn, he sees her vulnerability and humanity when so many others don’t. They make each other better, stronger, and savvier. Only time will tell if two become one.

Anyone with Podrick

Podrick Payne (Daniel Portman) is totes boyfriend material. He’s the whole kit and kaboodle when it comes to a dream date. Respects women? Check. Is polite and courteous? Double check. A devil in the sack? Triple check. We know this because the men of GoT won’t stop talking about his magic cock. But we know that Pod is so much more than that. He’s a boy that you could bring home to mom and dad.

After all the horrors he’s been through, Podrick has maintained his cheery and helpful composure. And, for that, he’s certainly owed more than just a free roll in the hay with some rando sex workers. All men must die, sure, but when they’re as sweet as Pod, they also deserve a happily ever after.

Game of Thrones Season 8 premieres April14th at 9/8c on HBO.
