Polliver

Time of Death: Season 4, Episode 1 “Two Swords”

Cause of Death: Throat slowly pierced by Arya and her Needle.

Valar Morghulis: Ah, Polliver (Andy Kellegher). You dick. The guy didn’t make a good impression on Arya the first time he met her as he killed one of her friends in cold blood, laughed about it, and then nicked her beloved sword, Needle. Then, he made Arya’s list. So it was only fitting that the callous child-killer got what was coming to him when he encountered Arya and the Hound at a country Inn.

Spurred on by Arya, the Hound kicks off a fight against a group of Lannister men with Polliver at the center. Within moments of the fight breaking out, Polliver proves himself to be a pretty crap fighter as he ends up flat on his back in the middle of the fray. As the Hound easily cuts down the rest of the crew with one chicken leg tucked behind his back, Arya is left face-to-face with her adversary. She easily reclaims Needle and then exacts her vengeance by pushing the blade into Polliver’s neck, nice and slow.

As a reward for picking off Polliver, Arya gets her very own horse for her troubles. And we get the satisfying sensation that comes with witnessing her finally cross someone off her famed list.
