Calling all hopeless romantics! The Perfect Date, starring Noah Centineo, is now streaming on Netflix. Will you be watching this ASAP to kick off a romantic, feel-good weekend, or save it for later?
After a short break, Netflix’s it-guy Noah Centineo is back on our small and big screens! This time, the actor is stealing hearts as Brooks Rattigan on The Perfect Date, now streaming. We all remember Centineo from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and Sierra Burgess Is a Loser, both movies are Netflix Originals. If you have long been a fan of the actor, though, you may remember Centineo from The Fosters.

Whether you’ve been following the actor’s work for a while or only recently became a fan, it’s never too early to join the fan bus! And, if you ask me, Centineo’s most recent work is a great place to start, The Perfect Date.
The movie follows Centineo as Brooks Rattigan, a high school student about to graduate and struggling to make his dreams come true. What are those dreams? A cool car that will impress others, particularly his school crush who isn’t into him. After an unexpected event, and in an effort to raise money for college, Brooks creates an app where the rich can hire him as their date or stand-in boyfriend.
It works like a charm, at least, initially. Those who hire Brooks have the option to select his personality and customize how they wish Brooks will act. This allows him to take on many roles, but will he be able to stay true to himself?

One major downside to the movie is that the trailer sorta spoils a lot. I’m hoping there’s a twist somewhere in the film that surprises viewers. Or else the person in charge of the trailer messed it up for everyone.
