After some shocking events at the end of Episode 6 and a renewal for a third season, Good Girls Season 2, Episode 7 showed us that it isn’t easy getting it all.

Good Girls Season 2, Episode 7 saw one of Beth’s daughters go missing. Was it possible that a drug dealer had taken her? It was the first thing that Beth thought of. Meanwhile, Ruby had a tough decision to make.

Like every episode, I’m delving into the major takeaways from the episodes, the ones that push the storyline forward. With just three episodes left to the season (Good Girls has been renewed for Season 3), we’re getting to points of no return.

5. Annie has a new manager

More from NBC

Annie, once again, didn’t get too much to do in Good Girls Season 2, Episode 7. She’s been the one on the backburner, mostly with her own private life being developed. With Boomer out of the picture, it’s almost as if the show is struggling with what to do next.

However, we do get to see her as a mom. Sadie is lying to her and that gives Annie a reason to worry. After all, Sadie said she’d be out with friends and wasn’t. When Janey went missing, Annie and Ruby naturally worried about their own children. Could something have happened to them?

In the end, Sadie was with Nancy. But that wasn’t the major part of the episode.

It was all about Annie’s new manager, who she met in a bar and blasted Fine and Frugal before even knowing who she was speaking to. When she realized it was the new manager, she offered to quit to avoid problems. However, he didn’t want her to quit.

Maybe he liked her honesty. It certainly wasn’t her perky personality. Whatever it was, it ended up with the two of them in the storeroom doing some mightily unsanitary things around the food.
