The witty new show, No Good Nick, starring Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Melissa & Joey) and Sean Astin (The Goonies, Stranger Things) is now streaming on Netflix.

As soon as I heard Melissa Joan Hart was signing onto a new family show, I’ve been patiently waiting for the premiere date to be released. Fast-forward to now, and I am excited that No Good Nick part 1 is now out!

I am glad that Netflix ordered two parts to this show. It shows the network is confident about No Good Nick, and we also don’t have to wait much for Part 2 and then between seasons. I’m not surprised that Netflix feels very optimistic about its success. We’re talking about Melissa Joan Hart and Sean Astin being the leads. If only the streaming giant released episodes weekly rather than all at once.

I love Melissa as she’s such an incredible actress. I like Sean from watching him in Stranger Things. I think both of them will make amazing TV parents together. While I am watching the trailer, a guy (which appears in a jumpsuit) talks to Nick over the phone and says “Don’t get too attached to this family. You’re not there to make friends”.

Watch the trailer for No Good Nick Season 1:

It makes me wonder what kind of revenge Nick is up to. Is the guy we see in the trailer her father, a relative, or is he her friend? I don’t think he’s her friend as he seems old. Shortly afterward, Sean Astin (Ed) says “I just saw a girl who needed a family.”

Most of the family seems to love her, so they better be careful here. Others have suspicions of Nick since things changed once she showed up.

It makes me wonder if Nick will be able to do whatever revenge she plans on doing since the synopsis says she finds compassion for the family.

More from Netflix

The synopsis for No Good Nick is below, per Netflix:

"No Good Nick follows 13-year-old Nick, short for Nicole, who infiltrates a family with the intention to get revenge on them for unknowingly ruining her life. As she gets to know the family, she will find compassion for them and will struggle with whether or not she can ultimately go through with the plan."

I’m glad that Netflix is adding more family shows on its network because they’re usually on the Disney Channel. Disney Channel shows are made mainly for children. With Netflix, the demographics are generally for all ages, except for adult shows and movies.
