No episode of Game of Thrones would be satisfying without a few jaw-dropping scenes. Here are the five biggest WTF moments from the season 8 premiere.

Last weekend, Game of Thrones returned to television and appeared to shatter ratings across the nation. Many of us tuned in because of the show’s ability to take jolting dramatic turns like “The Red Wedding” or even the epic “Battle of the Bastards.” While the show returned with high-stakes, it also gave us some of those old-fashioned “dread building through dialogue” scenes we used to adore about the show.

That said, the episode was not without its shocking moments. Between the conversations of conflict building were small nuggets of wonder as well as surprise.

What happened exactly? Here are the five WTF moments from the Game of Thrones Season 8 premiere!

#1 Cersei’s smirk after bad news

This is a small one, but a major question nonetheless. After Jon Snow showed Cersei one of the White Walkers in Season 7, she agreed to fight alongside the North for humanity’s sake. Problem is, no one–especially Sansa– believes that decision is a good idea. And given her actions in the season premiere, they might be right to doubt her.

In the scene, one of Cersei’s messengers approaches her to relay bad news. He says, “I’m afraid I bring terrible news, the dead have broken through the wall.” With a smug smirk, Cersei quietly responds. “Good.”

What this means is anyone’s guess, but it does not sound like she has any intention to fight by anyone’s side. In fact, she’ll probably happily watch the world burn and smile.

#2 Cersei wants elephants?

This is more humorous than anything, but strangely unexpected. Once Euron brings his army of ships to Cersei, she has 20,000 more men than she had before, but for some strange reason, she’s wildly disappointed that Euron did not bring elephants.

Why does she want elephants? No one knows, but she’s pretty let down. However, Euron makes a good case saying the majestic creatures are extremely difficult to transport across the water.

Yet, a few moments later, she’s still disappointed about the fact no one brought elephants. It’s a very random, but a funny character quirk for such an evil vile woman to have such a fascination for the animal. It’s not like she really needs them for battle, she just wants them.

#3 Bronn almost gets pox

Bronn helping Cersei is enjoying the fruits of said labor by getting as many women sent to his chambers as he wants. While doing so, he is interrupted by the Queen’s assistant, Qyburn, because she has a favor to ask of him.

As the women leave, one of them offers their services to Qyburn but once they leave the room, he drops a subtle bombshell on Bronn.

He says, “Poor girl. The pox will take her within the year.” Bronn spits out his drink trying to figure out if he just got a disease, asking, “Which girl?” Shortly after, Qyburn says that the Queen wants him to kill her brothers (Tyrion especially) with the same crossbow that was used on her dad. But still, Bronn’s face seems worried about if he touched the girl with pox.
