Lauren Cohan would like to be in the final Supernatural season
With Supernatural coming to an end in the 2019-2020 season, there are many thoughts on character returns. Lauren Cohan has thrown her hat into the ring, sharing that she’d love to be back.
With Supernatural Season 15 being officially the end of the series, there are a lot of conversations about character returns fans would like to see. Obviously, the show alums are also looking back on their time and have shared interests in returning. Lauren Cohan is one who has officially made it clear she’d be up for a return in the final season.
Cohan, who is currently starring in Whiskey Cavalier but has also been in The Walking Dead, told Comicbook.com that she was jealous that Jeffrey Dean Morgan said he was back on the series for the 300th episode. Supernatural is one close to her heart and she made it clear that she’d be up for a return if the storyline allowed.

For those who need a quick reminder, Cohan was in the third season, taking up the role of Bela Talbot. She was one of those characters many loved to hate, spending most of her time trading insults with Dean Winchester. However, it was clear that she had a dark secret and it all came out in the penultimate episode of the season.

Now, Bela is somewhere in Hell. What’s not clear is whether she gave into the torture and became a demon. Is she now out there somewhere with an intention to kill the Winchesters? It’s certainly possible but it’s also possible that she managed to withstand the torture in Hell and she’s still somewhere down there to save.
Whatever the storylines, Cohan would be up for a return. She’d be more than willing to be part of the final season, holding the show close to her heart. Supernatural was her first acting job in the United States and her first TV role. Since then, she’s become a household name thanks to her appearance as Maggie in The Walking Dead, which she has shared an interest in returning to in the future, too.
For now, we’ll just have to wait and see what the writers have in store. We know Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki are going to be part of the storyboarding process this year to help with the crafting of the best story to say goodbye to the series. Who will they want to see return to say goodbye to?
