Game of Thrones shared new promotional images for Season 8, Episode 3 and on inspection of the images they have so messed up with Jaime.

The next episode of Game of Thrones is the one we have all been waiting for. It’s the fight for the living at Winterfell. Many of our favorite characters are expected to fall and we’re mentally preparing ourselves for that. HBO has tried to help us get ready for the Battle of Winterfell by sharing new promotional images of Season 8, Episode 3, but all they have shown us is how they have messed up with Jaime.

More from Game of Thrones

OK then. If you are still reading this, I am assuming you are all good with potential spoilers. So, as I said, HBO released new promotional images for this Sunday’s episode. They released six in total and there is plenty to take away from them.

Fans have already been theorizing on the little details they have spotted within the photos. Especially the one of Daenerys and Jon. However, the one I want to point out is the one showing Jaime and Brienne fighting side by side, with the Knights of the Vale behind them. If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out for yourself just below:

It looks cool and all, don’t get me wrong. Seeing the look of fear on Jaime and the Knights of the Vale’s faces at whatever is coming towards them with Brienne standing ready to take them on like the absolute badass she is, but Jaime is wrong. Here’s why.

Why the hell does he still have his golden hand? Why did nobody fit him with a dragonglass dagger that goes over his stump or something?

Winterfell has been making all of these cool new weapons, Arya’s spear is expected to be an absolute show stopper, but nobody took the time to fit Jaime with a dragonglass dagger? Or at the very least a hook? Instead, they are leaving him with the golden hand which will do effectively nothing. It might able to smash a skull or two, but that won’t kill a wight.

Game of Thrones really missed a trick here, it would have been really badass and cool seeing Jaime swinging both a Valyrian Steel Sword and a dragonglass dagger during the Battle of Winterfell, but oh no. it’s not happening. We are being left with the one-handed swordsman.

What do you think? Has Game of Thornes messed up here? Should Jaime have had a weapon forged out of dragonglass to go over his stump instead of the golden hand? Drop a comment just below sharing your thoughts.
