PSA: This Sunday’s Game of Thrones episode is over 80 minutes long
By Sandy C.
Game of Thrones episodes are usually around one hour-long, but being the final season of the series, some episodes will be going well over that time — beginning with Season 8, Episode 3!
One hour of Game of Thrones is usually what we have to settle with. Sometimes that’s enough and other times it isn’t. However, we’re now on the final season of the series! Season 8 is only six episodes, so, needless to say, no amount is enough for fans. In fact, we’re surprised the first two episodes are so short, falling just under an hour-long.
Worry not! This week’s episode is well over an hour, with a duration time of 82 minutes. That’s 1 hour and 22 minutes! Imagine the action we are in for! Not to mention, the heartbreak. Season 8, Episode 3 will most definitely hurt our souls and we are not ready for it.
Not caught up on Game of Thrones? Spoilers ahead! Before we dive into spoilers, though, here are the running times for the four remaining episodes of Game of Thrones…
