Last Man Standing Season 7 will end with its last two episodes on Friday, May 3, and Friday, May 10. Here is what we know about those two episodes.

Last Man Standing Season 7 is in its home stretch. After FOX revived the series, Last Man Standing will conclude its inaugural season on FOX.

Last Man Standing has performed marvelously in its timeslot, although FOX will move it to a new timeslot for Season 8. Fret not about that announcement. Instead, let’s continue the hype surrounding the 150th episode for the final two episodes of Last Man Standing Season 7.

More from FOX

Last Man Standing Season 7 will conclude with its final two episodes over the next two Fridays, May 3 and May 10. After the celebration of its 150th episode, Last Man Standing now offers us two more episodes in its inaugural season on FOX. This time around, Last Man Standing can leave us with a possible cliffhanger thanks to its renewal for an eighth season.

First up on Friday, May 3 is Season 7, Episode 21. It is entitled “The Favourite.” Here is its synopsis.

"Mike and Chuck get their game on when Ed has a pinball machine installed in the office. Meanwhile, Kristen and Mandy become jealous of a poem Vanessa wrote for Jen."

The friendship between Mike (Tim Allen) and Chuck (Jonathan Adams) has evolved over time, but the two men are still competitive and disagree. They competed to defeat each other in a prank battle this past Halloween, yet they bonded when Mike officiated the wedding renewal of Chuck and Carol.

So will they bond or clash over this pinball machine? I predict part of this storyline will end up in Mike’s vlog about competition. Ed (Hector Elizondo) may help Chuck and Mike resolve their differences, but comedy will ensue first.

It will also be interesting to see how good Ed is at pinball compared to Mike and Chuck. Ed plays poker regularly and he is an avid fisherman and hunter. Plus, there is probably a hilarious, or at least unique, story as to why Ed has a pinball machine installed in the office.

The episode title refers to the jealousy displayed by Kristen (Amanda Fuller) and Mandy (Molly McCook). They’ve been sharing the spotlight with Eve (Kaitlyn Dever), and now Jen (Krista Marie Yu) receives it.

Last Man Standing showrunner Kevin Abbott revealed, “Mandy assumes, since she and Kyle are moving out, that [the poem is written] for her, and that starts to provoke some jealousy.” Furthermore, “It is a lovely episode that reveals more about the Jen character.”

Because Jen is a foreign exchange student, is Vanessa (Nancy Travis) becoming emotional over Jen’s departure at the end of the semester? There has been no word whether Krista Marie Yu will reprise her role as Jen in Season 8.

Most likely, Mandy will share her frustrations with Kristen about Vanessa creating a poem for Jen. Presumably, Vanessa has a reasonable explanation which solves all of this. Curiously, Mandy and Kyle (Christoph Sanders) have not moved out yet, so that storyline will become the focal point of the Last Man Standing Season 7 finale.

Last Man Standing Season 7 finale, episode 22, is entitled “A Moving Finale.” Here is its synopsis.

"In the Season 7 finale, Mandy and Kyle are hesitant to move out of the Baxter household and into their own place, so Mike gives them some tough love. Meanwhile Ed and Chuck try to avoid contributing to Boyd’s theater fundraiser."

Earlier this season, Mandy and Kyle (Christoph Sanders) found their place to live above Buds Buds. Mike and Vanessa allowed them to live in the Baxter house so Mandy could save money for her fashion business. Now, she has earned income for it, including royalties from some Outdoor Man apparel.

Kyle also found his place at Outdoor Man, so he has stability there. He and Mandy improved the living conditions of the apartment, albeit after some coaxing from Ryan (Jordan Masterson). It’s now Mike’s turn to give them a push to move into their new apartment.

Regarding the move of Kyle and Mandy, Kevin Abbott remarked, “They [begin] making lame excuses not to move out… since her father owns the building, Mandy’s not feeling any sort of pressure, so Mike is forced to take action and light a little fire under them.”

Speaking of Ryan, will he return for either of these two episodes? He has pushed Boyd (Jet Jurgensmeyer) to appreciate the arts, so will he encourage Ed and Chuck to donate? Both men can afford to donate. Ed can afford a pinball machine! Chuck took some acting classes and has a fondness for the arts, so he should enjoy Boyd’s enthusiasm for the theater.

In the Season 7 finale, we will see Eve! Yes, Kaitlyn Dever will reprise her role as the youngest daughter. Even though Last Man Standing has been renewed for Season 8, there has been no word on Dever’s status.

Frankly, because Last Man Standing has such a strong cast of recurring characters, and Eve is enrolled at Air Force, the scenes with Eve are even more precious, especially given her similarities to her father Mike. Plus, by only appearing in select episodes, Kaitlyn Dever can star in other films, plays, focus on her music, etc.

Last Man Standing is excited for its final two episodes of Season 7.
