In the penultimate episode of The Resident’s second season, Nic must make a critical decision regarding Jessie’s life and Mina admits her feelings.

It’s the final episode before the season finale of The Resident’s sophomore season and Nic is dealing with a complicated life or death situation in regards to her sister’s life. Meanwhile, Mina has a wild night out and reveals some interesting truths about herself. Let’s recap the three most surprising moments from Season 2, Episode 21.

3. Mina admits to having feelings for Austin.

Mina, I have so many questions. In a night reminiscent of The Hangover, Mina wakes up sprawled across a golf course wearing a nice suit we find out is Bell’s (she looks way better in it than Bell ever did, by the way). She doesn’t remember anything from the night before but seems to be reeling from a golf cart accident with the driver, a man named Taylor (guest star Sam Huntington), potentially suffering from internal bleeding.

Did Mina’s blackout night stem from her buried disappointment over Austin going to visit another woman? APPARENTLY SO!

Mina spent the night partying her heart out with Grayson, #Grayna adventure number one. They even crashed a bat mitzvah, explaining why Mina was wearing a yamaka. As for the suit, Grayson let her borrow it after collecting Bell’s dry cleaning. She spent the whole night talking about how much she loves surgery and dinosaurs – as in, raptors.

Of course, Mina being Mina, she isn’t planning to own up to her feelings over Austin any time soon. Even when confronted with the truth by Devon, Mina claims “sometimes a raptor is just a raptor.” Mhm, sure.
