Three Big Brother teams are taking part in The Amazing Race Season 31. All six former houseguests have survived through the first two episodes of the show.

The Big Brother teams are still hanging tough on The Amazing Race 31. In a season of the show that has former cast members of Big Brother, Survivor, and The Amazing Race taking part, CBS has done well to keep the episodes interesting.

Victor Arroyo, Nicole Franzel, Janelle Pierzina, Britney Haynes, Rachel Reilly, and Elissa Slater are all competing during the spring 2019 season. They make up three of the 11 teams that signed up to compete in the race and possibly win the $1 million cash prize.

The Amazing Race 31 recap

Leo Temory and Jamal Zadran, who competed on Season 23 and Season 24, have returned to try to do better than their fourth-place finishes. They have won the first two legs of the new season, netting a seven-day cruise and a cash prize for finishing in first-place during those episodes.

The trio of Big Brother teams has been doing well, with Victor Arroyo and Nicole Franzel finishing second-place in the last episode. They seem very capable of winning the season.

The team of Rachel Reilly and Elissa Slater can’t be counted out, as Rachel has done the race twice before. She participated in Season 20 and Season 24 with her husband, Brendan Villegas.

Nobody should look past Janelle Pierzina and Britney Haynes, either, as they showed inside the BB house that they are formidable women. While they haven’t received a lot of screen time through the first two episodes, that could change in the coming weeks.

Amazing Race 31, episode 3 for Big Brother houseguests

The next new episode of the show takes place on Wednesday, May 1. It begins after a new episode of Survivor on CBS, with a start time of 9/8c. This will be the third leg of the race around the world and everyone knows how important it will be to move up in the pack.

Victor Arroyo, Nicole Franzel, Janelle Pierzina, Britney Haynes, Rachel Reilly, and Elissa Slater each want to share a victory lap with Cody Nickson and Jessica Graf. Cody and Jessica were part of Big Brother 19 before they took part in and won The Amazing Race last year. Can another duo of former houseguests duplicate that success?
