Murphy experiences a pregnancy scare and we finally find out whether Tyson is alive or not on the new episode of In the Dark.

This is not a great week for Murphy in terms of her personal life or showcasing her better attributes. Her goals in this episode include going to Felix’s family home so she can feel his dead uncle and compare it to when she felt Tyson’s body. Yeah, empathy is not our girl’s strong suit.  To be fair, her personal life is in turmoil when she realizes her period is late and fears the worst.

Let’s look into the 5 best moments from Season 1, Episode 5 of In the Dark.

5. Murphy flashes Jess.

The friendship between Murphy and Jess is one of the best parts of the show. I love how Jess puts up with Murphy’s messy habits and even messier schemes. They’ve gotten to the level of comfort where Murphy literally flashes her breasts so Jess can tell her if they’ve gotten bigger or not (since she fears she could be pregnant).

I especially loved Murphy teasing Jess about not wanting to look since hers are better than Vanessa’s and Jess finally giving in only to respond, “No they’re not.” Murphy’s one word response? “B***h.” Pretty much sums the two of them up. At the end of the day, they love each other. But even better, Jess isn’t afraid to call Murphy out when she’s being terrible, as she is so frequently, but especially this week.
