Deaths, betrayals, and character development, we’ve seen all the characters go through many changes throughout the series of Game of Thrones — with the exception of one: Cersei Lannister.

Game of Thrones introduced us to very interesting characters, many of which are no longer around today. And those who are still alive are not the person they used to be in earlier seasons. Before we dig any further, please note big spoilers are ahead if you are not caught up on the series! This is your one and only Spoiler Alert!

Take Theon for example, what a redemption arc he had! Theon died a hero, protecting a Stark after he betrayed them all early on in the show. Jaime Lannister is also a character who is unrecognizable. Not only because of the new hair, but his over all new morals. Yes, Jaime may have gone back to Cersei (we’re not sure if to help her or put an end to his evil twin), but he’s a changed man.

Speaking of Cersei, she is the only character who hasn’t changed a bit! Sure, she went from having a cold heart (except towards her children) and manipulating others, to having an even colder heart (towards everyone) and conspiring against anyone who threatens to take her throne — but that’s about it.

Needless to say, Cersei Lannister has been the most consistent of all characters on Game of Thrones. Have a look at the image below, Cersei has always had the same evil smirk. A smirk I admire and wish I could pull off. Cersei’s expression is something I aspire to achieve!

“The more people you love, the weaker you are,” Cersei Lannister.

This character told us all who she was from the very beginning — a woman all about family, specifically her children. “Everyone who isn’t us is an enemy” is one of her most popular quotes, as well as “I choose violence” and the one above.

Next. Game of Thrones: Did Tyrion reveal to Euron who the father of Cersei’s baby is?. dark

For some insane reason, Tyrion believed his sister would surrender to Daenerys, but we all (literally everyone watching) knew better. Cersei Lannister will never change.

Game of Thrones airs Sunday nights only on HBO. There are only 2 episodes left!
