Beverly Hills, 90210 is back! FOX’s upcoming reboot reunites the whole gang for a meta trip down memory lane. Get your first look at BH90210.

Can you already hear Beverly Hills, 90210′s iconic theme song ringing in your ears? Prepare for that famous guitar riff to get stuck in your head all over again. The Peach Pit crew returns this summer to their old stomping grounds on FOX for BH90210, the ultimate reboot with an unexpected twist.

Following a few middling attempts to revive the franchise, the gang’s back in action to answer every question about David and Donna, Brandon and Kelly, and wait… Is that Brenda?! From the reboot’s premiere date to who’s coming back from the original series (and who’s not) to what to expect from the upcoming meta update, here’s everything you need to know about BH90210.

When and where does it premiere?

BH90210 premieres on Wednesday, Aug. 7 at 9/8c on FOX, where the reboot will air each of its six episodes. Provided that many series on FOX like 9-1-1 and The Resident also stream new episodes on Hulu, and the fact that the streamer holds the rights the original series, we can assume that the episodes will also be available to watch on the platform after their televised airings. However, that’s not yet confirmed.

Which cast members are returning?

Simply put: All of the core seven members of the cast will be reprising their roles. Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Brian Austin Green, Gabrielle Carteris, Ian Ziering, and recent addition Shannen Doherty are all returning for BH90210 as Brandon, Kelly, Donna, David, Andrea, Steve, and Brenda.

Tiffani Thiessen, who played Valerie Malone in Seasons 5-9, confirmed on Live with Kelly and Ryan that she will not be part of the reboot due to her commitments on Netflix’s Alexa & Katie. Any other cameos or guest starring roles have not yet been teased or confirmed, and some might even remain secret treats for fans.

Is there a preview trailer?

Yes! While the series hasn’t yet started production (as of this writing), the cast gathered for the first table read and documented their reunion. Check it out in the video below!

What will it be about?

Unlike Beverly Hills, 90210 or The CW’s reboot 90210, the latest update on the franchise won’t be the straightforward continuation fans will probably expect. BH90210 promises a meta take on the pop culture phenomenon with the cast playing heightened versions of themselves as they reunite to attempt to get a reboot off the ground. Per FOX, the event series will be serialized, which could mean we could be getting a formal Season 11 tucked into the self-aware comedy.

The reboot comes from showrunner Patrick Sean Smith, who created ABC Family’s college dramedy Greek, and counts Chris Alberghini and Mike Chessler as executive producers. Alberghini and Chessler worked on MTV’s underrated high school comedy series Awkward and previously partnered with Tori Spelling for her short-lived VH1 comedy series, So NoTORIous, in which she played a fictionalized version of herself. Clearly, BH90210 is in good hands.

How can you catch up on the original series?

As previously mentioned, all 10 seasons of Beverly Hills, 90210 are available to stream on Hulu. There’s still time to catch up on every iconic moment that will surely be referenced in the reboot, between the “Donna Martin graduates!” rally to the series finale wedding. Don’t miss your chance to watch all 293 classic episodes and brush up on your 90210 vocabulary.
