Missy Peregrym previews FBI season finale
The FBI season finale airs tonight, and Missy Peregrym spoke about what fans can expect from the last episode of the season.
Tonight’s FBI season finale has the CBS drama poised to end its first season with a bang, and star Missy Peregrym offered up a glimpse of what’s ahead in a new interview.
“I really like a lot of the scenes that we have in the last one,” she told One Chicago Center. “There’s more character stuff, in terms of emotional scenes that happen, and there’s an awesome stunt and showdown which I’m really excited to see.”
“A lot of these things we really worked on the day to work through,” she continued. “Everyone was on board for it, and I think it’ll be one of our best episodes.”
The installment, called “Closure,” zeroes in on a subplot that’s been running throughout the whole first season—whether or not Missy’s character Maggie Bell will uncover the true story behind her husband’s death. But what really happened to him was something even she didn’t know!
“I’ve been finding out as you have,” the actress revealed, explaining that the unfolding nature of the story could be a bit of a challenge.

“I really like to know a little where we’re going, especially if it’s backstory,” Missy explained. “It’s really important for me. It informs me as a person, so yeah, experiences are great to know beforehand.
“But at the same time it’s the first year of a show, and everybody’s trying to find their footing in it. It’s a big deal to come together and I’ve never worked on [a show] before where it was like this.
“22 episodes, first season, is a huge feat and I’m proud of everyone doing this and getting a second season so soon.”
FBI was renewed for a second season in January, followed by spinoff FBI: Most Wanted being picked up for its first season last week.
