Whether you love or hate the penultimate episode of Game of Thrones Season 8, we can all agree it was a shocking one. Are we in for an even bigger surprise?

Spoiler Alert! If you are not caught up on Game of Thrones or missed the penultimate episode of Season 8, massive spoilers are ahead. Proceed at your own risk.

After the first two episodes of Season 8, Game of Thrones has been shocking us with rushed events, forgotten plot lines, giving Cersei Lannister, one of the best villains of all time, an undeserving death, and dracarys…a lot of dracarys. But the biggest shock may be in the finale.

Sure, with the Season 8 finale also being the final episode of the series, a lot of surprises are expected. But what we’re talking about here is pretty huge. Consider this your final spoiler warning!

More from Game of Thrones

According to a Game of Thrones  leaks on Reddit, Jon Snow is the one who will be putting an end to Daenerys’ madness. This spoiler surfaced a few weeks ago, and at that time it didn’t seem possible. However, after watching the penultimate Season 8 episode, “The Bells,” we now understand not just why Jon would do this, but he really has no other option.

Everyone who is left (and there aren’t many at this point) either doesn’t stand a chance against Daenerys or doesn’t have it in them. Jon Snow is the only one who is able to get close to her.

With how much Jon Snow loves his people, and knowing his family is now in danger, there’s no doubt he is capable of getting himself to kill Daenerys. The question now is — how? Not to mention, we’re also all dying to know who will sit in the Iron Throne.
