Grey’s Anatomy capped off its fifteenth season with a finale with a series of cliffhangers and plenty of questions to answer come Season 16!

As Season 15 of Grey’s Anatomy came to a close, an unexpected fog descended upon Seattle throwing a series of unexpected curveballs in the direction of the Grey Sloan Memorial team; however, the thick fog proved to be no match for the drama unfolding within the hospital walls!

From surprise firings, long-awaited proclamations of love, legal actions being taken and one doctor’s unexpected disappearance, the Grey’s Anatomy finale left fans with plenty of questions to ponder ahead of the Season 16 premiere this fall.

Here are the biggest burning questions on our minds after the Season 15 finale!

10. Will there be a time jump?

As any Grey’s Anatomy fan knows, there is nothing the Grey’s writers love more than an unexpected time jump, so it’s only fair to question whether one could be used to help kickstart the next season of the show.

Given the circumstances of the finale, jumping ahead even by just a few weeks or months could help ABC further storylines such as Jo’s recovery, DeLuca and Meredith’s legal woes and the hospital’s sudden staff changes.

On the flip side, however, jumping forward would rob fans of several impactful moments and developments – so here is hoping ABC opts not to hit fast forward and instead picks up right where Season 15 leaves off.
