Big Brother 21 start date: CBS reveals season premiere date

Big Brother 21 has revealed its start date and a two-night season premiere for the summer 2019 season.
The Big Brother 21 start date will take place on Tuesday, June 25. The long wait for fans to learn when the summer 2019 season premiere will take place has come to an end. CBS and show producers will kick things off with a two-night event again.
Big Brother 21 season premiere start time
The season premiere will begin at 8/7c on Tuesday, June 25. Then, the second episode of the season will take place on Wednesday, June 26, at 8/7c as well. The episodes will be tied together as a two-night event, giving CBS a lot of time to introduce the BB21 cast to the viewers.

This is a slight shift to the way things have been done in the past, with the show debuting on a Wednesday night. The network has pushed the days up slightly, giving the cast an earlier debut than normal. Does this somehow play into the new theme?

BB21 cast reveal still coming
Even though CBS put out a press release about the two-night season premiere, there has been no update about the BB21 cast. The names may already be known to the producers and the casting director of the show or they could still be working through the semi-finalists to put together the perfect blend of people.
If the network follows a similar schedule to what it has done in the past, the BB21 cast announcement could fall on Monday, June 17. That would give a full week for people to digest the news before the season premiere even aired on CBS.
It makes sense with the way that the reality competition show does things each summer, so it might just be safe to expect that big announcement on June 17.

In just about a month, the new cast will be already be playing the game.
