BB21 hashtag getting overused with possible cast spoilers

BB21 is the hashtag that fans are using for Big Brother 21 this summer. It’s a familiar shorthand form that CBS uses for each new season of the reality competition show.

The BB21 hashtag exploded on Twitter again on Thursday (May 30), as possible Big Brother 21 spoilers about the cast were posted online. So what caused all the stir? As previously reported by Inside the BB House, someone is claiming to have a source that is revealing cast information. It includes the revelation of eight returning houseguests.

Who is on the BB21 cast?

With casting information potentially being leaked online, it expectedly led to a lot of buzz on social media. The BB21 hashtag really took off again, with fans and former houseguests weighing in with their thoughts. That even included Big Brother 8 winner, Evel Dick, who began posting jokes about possible returning houseguests. It included two that have been to prison.

As shown in the image above, even casting director Robyn Kass was getting in on the action. She was hinting at how many days are left before the season premiere, which is a bit different from the casting guesses of many Twitter users, but she still used the hashtag.

Among the guesses of possible returning houseguests that were in showmances, there were also a lot of pleas from fans who are begging for only newbies this summer. If the rumors are true, it would mean a cast that has half veterans and half newbies. That might make it difficult for someone new to the game to emerge as a winner.

That BB21 cast reveal is coming

The only thing that is going to finally put an end to all the online speculation and possible leaked cast lists is for CBS to reveal who is playing the game this summer. That probably won’t happen for a little more than two weeks, so it means even more rumors are going to pop up online. While all the chatter could turn out to be false, it’s still exciting for fans to see the hashtag everywhere.
