In the Dark Season 1, Episode 10 preview: Can Max and Murphy fix things?

There is trouble in paradise on this week’s In the Dark as both Murphy and Jess contend with their various relationship issues.
Darnell is in jail, Max is the informant, and Jess confessed to cheating on Vanessa. Last week’s episode of In the Dark was a doozy and episode ten will deal with the fall out of all these calamitous decisions!
With Darnell in jail, it’s only a matter of time before Jules is discovered by Dean or someone else at the precinct. She basically blew the lid on her secret criminal/cop relationship by rescuing Darnell from getting caught up in the sting operation. We will likely see the aftermath of her decision this week.

Another big revelation? Max is the informant who got Nia put in prison and inadvertently got Tyson killed! It wasn’t Max’s fault, but Murphy doesn’t see it that way. Hopefully, she’ll come around. It looks like she and Max will be spending some time alone in a creepy cabin in the woods.
As to why they’re in a cabin, that much isn’t clear, but the episode’s title is “Bait and Switch” so it stands to reason they’re part of some operation to aide in Darnell’s release or in catching Tyson’s murderer.
The synopsis details Jess and Murphy both are coping with similar issues, i.e., relationship problems. We can expect Jess to be struggling over her break up with Vanessa. Will she try to win her back or will she embrace single Jess?
