Jeff Schroeder Returns to Big Brother, Reveals Cast Announcement Date

Former houseguest Jeff Schroeder is returning to Big Brother! What role will he have? Did he bring any other news with him? Find out here!

Big Brother announced via their twitter feed that Jeff Schroeder would be returning to the show on Monday, June 10. He will be doing interviews from the Diary Room with the Big Brother 21 cast. No further details have been given as to the full extent of Schroeder’s role with the show.

Cast Announcement Date Revealed

Also in Jeff Schroeder’s announcement, it was revealed the Big Brother 21 cast would be announced on Monday, June 17th at 11 am eastern.

Jeff Schroeder’s affiliation with CBS dates back to Big Brother 11 in 2009. Jeff started off the game as part of the Athletes clique. However, he quickly fell in love with fellow houseguest Jordan Lloyd that led to a relationship outside the house.

Jeff Schroeder ended up being evicted in 5th place on Day 61. However, he was awarded the $25,000 prize for being America’s Favorite Houseguest on finale night.

Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd later competed on The Amazing Race 16. After winning the first leg, they slowly fell to the back of the pack. They finished last on leg 4 of the Race but were not eliminated. However, they had fallen too far behind. They would be eliminated on leg 6 in 7th place.

In 2010, Jeff and Jordan returned to the house to host a Power of Veto competition on Big Brother 12. Later that year, Jeff hosted an online CBS show called “Around the World For Free.”

Jeff Schroeder returned for Big Brother 13 in 2011 along with Lloyd. Schroeder found himself evicted in 8th place on Day 55. Once again, he was named America’s Favorite Houseguest on finale night.

Beginning with Big Brother 14, Schroeder began hosting Big Brother’s online after show where he interviewed house guests after their evictions. Starting with Big Brother 15, he also interviewed house guests from the Diary Room on the day of the cast announcement.

During Big Brother 16, Jeff and Jordan returned to the house where Jeff proposed to Jordan. She accepted. Jeff and Jordan have since married and have two children together.

Jeff Schroeder left his position as host of Big Brother’s after show during Big Brother 19 as he took a job hosting a talk show called Daily Blast Live. Celebrity Big Brother 1 houseguests Ross Matthews and Marissa Jaret Winokur took over hosting duties on the after show starting with Big Brother 20.

As we eagerly await the cast announcement, Big Brother alumni Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo are making headlines of their own. The duo is currently the last remaining Big Brother team in The Amazing Race 31. The Amazing Race 31 features teams of former Big Brother players against teams of former Survivor players against teams of former Amazing Racers.
