We’re at the hardest part of Hellatus right now. What makes it so hard compared to later moments of Hellatus for Supernatural fans?

As Supernatural fans, Hellatus is always hard. We don’t get new episodes but do get to rewatch other episodes as much as we like. Between CW and TNT, there are various reruns throughout the summer months. However, this is the hardest part of Hellatus.

We’re in between that moment of the previous season ending and the next season filming. The cast and crew are spending time with their families. This means very little news about the upcoming season and now snapshots of the filming process. Twitter accounts are quiet and there aren’t as many theories circulating around.

It’s like we’re in a void right now. We can be left feeling empty and a little lost.

Trying to find something to do during this time is hard. The best thing I can recommend is being part of the fandom Facebook groups. Likeminded fans gather together to discuss the latest season, share theories for things to come, and just discuss everything about the show, fan fiction, the books, and more.

Twitter can also be a good way to connect to other members of the SPN Family. However, it’s important to watch out for the toxic elements of the fandom here. They do exist!

The Wayward Podcast, Voyage to the StarsBig Little Lies, and other shows or podcasts can also be excellent places to turn. They involve the Supernatural cast members, and while they’re not quite SPN, they’re close enough to it for many people.

This tricky part of Hellatus is almost over. Filming usually starts in July and San Diego Comic-Con 2019 is almost here to give us some updates on what to expect in the final season.
