Murder Mystery on Netflix: Who is the killer?
By Sandy C.
There’s a new murder mystery on Netflix starring Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler, did you figure out the killer’s identity?
Spoiler alert! If you’re here, it means you just began watching Murder Mystery on Netflix and can’t take the suspense any longer or simply don’t want to sit through the entire movie to learn the killer’s identity. If it’s the latter, we don’t blame you, Murder Mystery is, unfortunately, not the best movie. Whatever brings you here, though, know that spoilers are ahead!
Aniston and Sandler portray Audrey and Nick Spitz, a married couple out on a vacation they can barely afford, which is why they accept Charles Cavendish (Luke Evans) kind offer to join him at a family gathering. Cavendish is nephew to Malcolm Quince (Terence Stamp), a billionaire.

Just as Malcolm is about to make a few adjustments to his will, which includes cutting off everyone with the exception of his wife, he is murdered. Who did it? Everyone points to Audrey and Nick, despite the two having no motive.
It’s up to the Spitz’s to prove their innocence as we follow along trying to solve this murder mystery ourselves. Is the murderer the obvious choice or someone we’re missing? Who did you assume it was, initially?
Murder Mystery almost feels like an interactive story, without the interaction. We don’t make any of the choices, but we do pay close attention to all the clues and take mental notes. Don’t want to sit through the movie? Not a problem, we’re here to help!
And the killer is… Grace Baller (Gemma Arterton) with the assistance of Juan Carlos (Luis Gerardo Méndez). Did you guess correctly? I sure didn’t! And I can’t say following along was much fun, either.
Murder Mystery is now streaming on Netflix.
