Big Brother 21 Player Profile and Analysis: Tommy Bracco

Big Brother 21 cast member Tommy Bracco is a 28-year-old Broadway dancer from Staten Island, New York. He has one major advantage in the game: he knows fellow cast member Christie Murphy. Can the two keep their secret? Or will it be exposed causing problems for both of them?

According to hamsterwatch, Tommy Bracco knows fellow houseguest Christie Murphy from the outside world. It could be part of a twist or an extreme coincide. We don’t know the answer to that yet. Either way, right off the bat that is a major advantage for the two of them in the game.

Additionally, he is friends with former The Amazing Race 27 cast members Krista DeBono and Tiffany Torres. I expect Krista and Tiffany to have him well trained for the game. According to Krista, Tommy has been a fan of the game for years and was not recruited.

His time on Broadway should help him with challenges. Especially ones involving endurance. His biggest issue is going to be his personality. He describes himself as being over the top. Typically, people who have over the top personalities are evicted early. The exception here is Frankie Grande, who finished in 5th place on Big Brother 16.

His strategy is definitely one of the more interesting ones I have seen. He claims his strategy is inspired by his mom. He wants to be the Italian mother of the house. He wants to take care of everyone. He also wants to make them safe and loved because he thinks nobody would want to vote that person out.

Jeff Schroeder interviews Tommy Bracco

According to Tommy’s interview with Jeff, he first started watching Big Brother during Big Brother 14. His favorite player that season was Ian Terry. His personality really shined during his interview with Jeff. You could tell he was an energetic guy that is likely going to be very entertaining.

He adds on to his strategy by saying he is going to throw competitions until the second half of the season. He also plans on keeping everyone entertained while he slips through the cracks. Tommy also has no interest in a showmance because he feels it would embarrass his family. He also expects to be the only gay person in the house.

Ika Wong interviews Tommy Bracco

In Tommy’s interview with Ika, he says even though he started with Big Brother 14, he has gone back and seen previous seasons.  He also says he is oblivious to things. Tommy also says wants to be his authentic self and tell the truth. However, he wants to spin the truth in a way that benefits him.

Tommy also thinks it is a good idea to have a public enemy in the house. His theory surrounding this is that people will know that Tommy is not targeting them because he has a public enemy.

Analyzing Tommy Bracco’s chances of winning Big Brother 21

There is a lot to like about Tommy Bracco. He’s physically fit and he seems like he will be very strong socially. The fact that he knows Christie should also be an advantage for him. The biggest question marks I have surrounding Tommy are his personality, his relationship with Christie, and his obliviousness.

If Christie gets herself in trouble, it’s possible to see Tommy trying too hard to save her. Also as mentioned earlier, big personalities tend to get evicted early. He might need to tone it down around his fellow houseguests to stay in the game. You also need to know what is going on around you at all times to keep yourself in the game. Obliviousness won’t help this.

However, I think Tommy is likely going to have a good mind for the game and will be able to overcome those possible flaws. I expect to see Tommy in the final two.
