Toy Story 4: What happens to Bo Peep?

Bo Peep doesn’t appear in Toy Story 3, but makes a come back in the fourth movie, now in theaters, do audiences get to see what happened to her?
Spoiler alert! If you have not seen Toy Story 4 in theaters, please note there are spoilers about Bo Peep. While we won’t spoil the ending of the film or other major plot, we will go into details about what happened to Bo before Toy Story 3.
In the third movie, we don’t see Bo Peep. During a speech about the importance of staying together, it’s quickly mentioned that they’ve lost many friends, including Bo. Woody is visibly sadden, but we never see what happened, until now.
The first moments of Toy Story 4, take us back in time to when Andy was younger. Andy is still actively playing with his toys, but Bo is in Andy’s sisters, Molly, room as Bo is her toy. As they try to save RC during a storm, Woody, Buzz, and a few others go to Molly’s room. Suddenly, Andy and Molly’s mom walks in and takes Bo Peep, her sheep, and a lamp.

Their mom comments how Bo has been in their family for many years and another voice asks Molly if she’s sure she doesn’t mind. Molly replies she’s sure “I don’t want it anymore,” she says. It’s obvious now that she’s giving Bo Peep away.
Woody refuses to let Bo go and goes to find Bo, who is still in a box by the car. Bo, however, reminds Woody that she is not Andy’s toy and it’s time to move on. She suggests Woody joins her, saying that toys are lost all the time. Woody is about to, but hears Andy searching for him and decides he can’t leave Andy. So off she goes!

Don’t worry, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger! In Toy Story 4, Bo Peep is stronger and tougher than ever. She’s an independent toy enjoying life with no child. Her reunion with Woody is adorable!
