A dark truth is revealed about Bing’s past in this chilling fourth hour of NOS4A2. Plus, Haley transforms into something as monstrous as Manx.

The fourth episode of NOS4A2 is also the show’s darkest hour so far. Haley is in Manx’s possession. He is taking her down the same route he traveled with Danny not too long ago.

Unlike Danny, Haley is more skeptical and resilient to Manx’s methods of persuasion. He presses her for information about the Shorter Way Bridge and Vic McQueen. Haley does her best to protect her friend.

More disturbing than Manx’s line of questioning is what he turns Haley into, something we’ve yet to see before on the show.

5. Manx can create new monstrosities.

Swallow skin, gnarled hair, loose teeth, these are all signs of Manx’s life-sucking ability. Haley decays in the back seat of the Wraith while Manx’s youthful glow returns.

More from AMC

Manx manages to coax Vic’s name from Haley. With this information, he intends to take her to Christmasland, but not before a quick stop. In the parking lot of a gas station, Haley is spotted by a concerned woman. She recognizes the description from a national Amber Alert (thank you, Maggie!).

Haley lunges at the woman and pulls her into the car like a predator seizing its prey. Whatever Haley has become has given her an insatiable thirst for blood.
