Fans were outraged when they heard that Netflix was ending Fuller House after Season 5. Executive Producer John Stamos weighed in now saying that he won’t let the show go down easy.

Have mercy! Great news, Fuller House fans! We heard straight from John Stamos’ mouth that this may not be the end of seeing the Full House and Fuller House much-beloved series on our television screens.

Stamos is interested in a prequel to what happened before Full House. I didn’t expect him to say anything like that. Although I was happy to hear him acknowledge that there’s a lot of energy left with the show, and lots of happiness that it brought to the audience.

More from Netflix

I’m sure this is very exciting to all the fans out there, especially with the fan campaign that was launched four months ago by Fuller House fan page and website owner, Mar. I’m personally excited as I am a fan of Fuller House. It’s my guilty pleasure and the writers and actors are great at making you laugh.

That’s not all, though. John stated that Season 5 will be split into two parts, nine episodes each, for a total of 18 episodes. He is still producing the show. As for appearing on the show? He told Entertainment Tonight he’s on some of the episodes, but it hass become the girls’ show and a lot of the storylines will be focused on Candace, Jodie and Andrea.

He spoke with ET’s Nancy O’Dell and said the following:

"“There’s a lot of energy,. I haven’t spoken about this at all. I’m not going to really, but there’s a lot of energy still with that show.“There’s too much. There’s too much happiness that that show has brought for a lot of people. So it’s not going to go down easy.”"

Last but not least, he did comment about whether or not Lori Loughlin will appear on the final season:

"“I haven’t been on the show yet and it hasn’t come up, so I’m going to talk to some people about it this week and see what’s going on. I’m just going to wait a little longer before I talk about it. It’s a difficult situation for everyone involved. I don’t mean just on our side.”"

It’ll be interesting to see how this unfolds, that’s for sure. We’re so used to Aunt Becky being on the show, so this is going to feel off to many of the fans. Regardless, I’m happy that John isn’t letting the show go down easy and he’s considering a prequel.

For now, I’m pumped to see what kind of storylines we’ll see in Season 4. Stephanie and Jimmy now have a baby, so I’m sure they’ll get married. I wonder if D.J. and Steve will get married as well. It’s going to be a great season.

dark. Next. Lori Loughlin has been reportedly fired from Fuller House
