Now Streaming: Stranger Things Season 3 is on Netflix

The highly-anticipated third season of Netflix’s smash hit, Stranger Things, is finally available to stream on Netflix. Here’s all you need to know.

Fans of Stranger Things have been waiting almost two years for it to return. Thankfully, Netflix isn’t making us wait all the way until October, which is when its second season debuted.

Instead, Stranger Things returns to its roots with a July premiere date. The kids are all grown-up now. Seriously, have you seen their press tour interviews? They hit puberty hard. Long gone are the little kids riding their bikes, and with their increased age and a time jump comes bigger problems.

Trouble is far from over in Hawkins, is it ever? Max, Will, Eleven, Mike, Lucas, and Dustin are enjoying the height of their summer vacation when darkness once again creeps into their lives.

The older characters will be back again too, don’t fret. We can expect to see Nancy, Jonathan, Steve, and even Billy, in the third season.

In fact, Billy’s role has been teased as pivotal and central to the core mystery of the third outing. Based on the teasers, it looks like he could be getting possessed by the Mindflayer or whatever new creature is dwelling in the Upside Down.

Could we also finally see the long-awaited pairing of Joyce and Hopper? I guess we’ll find out soon!

The season contains a customary eight episodes and I wouldn’t stress too much about it getting canceled (as it has been the trend of Netflix to ax it shows after three seasons). Stranger Things is easily Netflix’s hottest show. I doubt it’ll end before the Duffer brothers are ready.
