The latest Spider-Man installment was released Tuesday, July 2, and Sony Pictures calculated it would make just over $120 million during the week. To everyone’s pleasant surprise, Far From Home now holds the sixth spot as the best day opener of all-time with $185 million domestically (from its debut to Sunday, July 7). It’s also now the No. 1 debut for a Tuesday, even beating 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man.
