Not sure what you’ll get to see during Shark Week 2019? Discovery has released the full schedule and it’s mightier than ever!

The schedule for Shark Week 2019 is here. It’s mightier than ever, with plenty of facts for young and old to learn. Make sure you get your diary in order to avoid missing some of the biggest bites Discovery has to offer during the 31st anniversary.

There is something to watch from 8 p.m. every night of the week starting on July 28. Remember that after watching “The Best of Shark Week 2019” on Aug. 4, you’ll get to experience the magical world of Serengeti, the new series from Discovery.

But let’s stick to the underwater friends, first. It’s all going to kick off with an episode of Expedition Unknown, titled Megalodon. The Megalodon was five times larger than the T. Rex and ruled the oceans almost 20 million years ago. Suddenly it vanished, and it’s time to find out why. With the help of paleontologists, Josh will explore the reasons why and understand more about the demise of this King of the Sea.

During the week, you’ll also want to look out for Sharkwrecked: Crash Landing. Paul de Gelder and James Glancy are going to jump out of an aircraft at 3,500ft and see what it’s like to crash land into some of the most dangerous waters around the world. Palau, in the Pacific Ocean, is the chosen location for this week’s particular episode.

There’s also a chance to experience a Shark Week-focused episode of Extinct or Alive.Forrest Galante is on an adventure throughout the Indian Ocean to find any sign that the Pondicherry shark may not be extinct as many say. This species hasn’t been seen since the 1970s, but has it just learned to avoid humans to protect itself?

Shark Week isn’t just about exploring. There’s also a chance for everyone to learn more about what they can do to protect these magnificent creatures and avoid any more from going extinct. This is certainly a week you’ll want to tune into Discovery on a nightly basis.
