What to watch on Netflix this weekend, July 19: Secret Obsession, more
By Sandy C.
Another Netflix weekend is only hours away! What will you be watching? Here’s what’s arriving to the streaming giant this weekend.
Events at Netflix really seem to have slowed down after Stranger Things 3 took over. The series has dethroned Lucifer from the most-popular series on Netflix spot, and that comes as no surprise. Stranger Things is, after all, a very popular show. Some may even argue it’s the most followed series in the streaming service.
Still, there are more movies and TV shows premiering that may capture our attention now that our Stranger Things binge-watch is over. Until Orange is the New Black arrives, that is. What’s coming this weekend? Let’s have a look!
You don’t need to wait until it is officially the weekend. Secret Obsession, starring Brenda Song and Mike Vogel, debuted today, Thursday, July 18. It follows Song’s character, Jennifer, captured by her stalker. While not the best Netflix has offered, it may still be entertaining for fans of the actress.
Otherwise, sit tight for:
- Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee: New episodes drop Friday, July 19.
- Queer Eye Season 4 premieres July 19 as well.
Additionally, Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster, Frankenstein made its debut earlier this week on July 16. The mockumentary is a quick watch at approximately 30 minutes long, and stars David Harbour (Stranger Things) as he “uncovers lost footage from his father’s televised stage play, Frankenstein’s Monster’s Monster, Frankenstein.”
This weekend is also a great time to watch Pretty Little Liars, as the teen drama is leaving the streaming service on July 27. No better time to binge-watch the entire series than the summer, and you have only under a week left!
What will you be watching on Netflix this weekend? A series or movie listed above or something new? Be sure to let us know if there’s a great show or Netflix film we are missing.
