Disney+ isn’t going to be available until Nov. 12, 2019. Aladdin isn’t likely to be on the streaming service right away, though. It will have only just been released on DVD and Blu-ray, and that’s one of the ways Disney knows it can make money.
There are chances that it would take nine to 12 months from the theatrical release date for movies to make it to the streaming service, which works with the former Netflix deal. This would mean Aladdin will likely be on Disney+ around February 2020, but we’ll have to wait and see for an announcement on streaming plans.
Aladdin is the live-action remake of the 1992 classic. Will Smith takes on the iconic role of the genie, with Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine and Mena Massoud as the titular role. With a mixture of classic songs and original, this is a movie for new and old fans.
