Supernatural Season 15: Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki haven’t filmed scenes yet!

Supernatural Season 15 filming has begun. It turns out our two leading men haven’t started filming yet, but who has been involved so far?

One of the great things about this point of Hellatus is that filming is underway. The first scenes of Supernatural Season 15 were filmed last week, with Jensen Ackles in the director’s chair. However, Ackles wasn’t involved on the screen or Jared Padalecki.

The two leading men haven’t filmed any scenes for the final season as of yet. This shouldn’t be all that surprising. The series does film scenes and episodes out of order. The current episode being filmed is the fourth episode of Season 15, allowing Ackles to have time to prepare to direct the week before filming.

So, if Ackles and Padalecki haven’t been filming, who has been? After all, Season 15 started filming earlier last week.

According to Nerds and Beyond, Ackles shared that Rob Benedict has been filming. That means God/Chuck is back in the picture and he will be appearing in Episode 4 of the final season.

Naturally, finding out that Benedict is returning isn’t surprising at all. At the end of Season 14, it was revealed that God was the Big Bad after all. There is no free will in the end. God has always written the books and he’s been in control of the Winchesters’ lives.

He won’t have been filming alone, but the cast and EPs haven’t given away any other spoilers for the show so far. Usually, we get a lot of spoilers during the SDCC panel. That wasn’t the case this year, with most of the focus being on celebrating the show that will be coming to an end this season.
