Watch Hellboy (2019): Now streaming on Amazon Prime
Did you have a chance to catch David Harbour’s Hellboy in theaters this past April? If not, your chance has arrived as Hellboy is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Though the movie has been panned by critics, it’s possible it may gain traction from fans in its streaming debut on Prime Video today. Starring David Harbour, Milla Jovovich, Ian McShane, and Daniel Dae Kim, the film hit theaters in April of 2019.
The movie boasts tremendous special effects and is the third adaptation of the comic book character, which was created by comic book artist Mike Mignola. In this specific adaptation, Hellboy does battle against the evil Blood Queen named Nimue. Nimue is an ancient medieval sorceress bent on destroying England with a demonic plague.
It is well-documented that many people preferred Guillermo Del Toro’s version, which produced a sequel and made Ron Pearlman a household name. Neil Marshall gives us a different take on the character and, if anything, provides yet another entry into the ever-growing world of comic book movies.

We do all need a little more David Harbour in our lives, especially after his tremendous run as Sheriff Hopper in season 3 of the popular Netflix show, Stranger Things. The man just oozes charisma and is primed to bring the same acting chops to the beloved Hellboy character.
The film also boasts a tremendous cast of popular character actors including Milla Jovovich from the Resident Evil movies, Ian McShane from John Wick and Deadwood, and, of course, Daniel Dae Kim of Lost fame.
