2. Keeping Faith

The Acorn TV Original for the month is Keeping Faith. Season 2 drops on the service at the end of the month, and you’ll want to get caught up on the first season if you haven’t already. Eve Myles is Faith, a lawyer, wife, and mother. After her husband suddenly disappeared, she went on a journey of discovery for him that also helped her discovery more about herself and the dark secrets around her.

Season 2 picks up from the aftermath of the first season. Many of the secrets are now out. Faith and her family need to figure out how to deal with that information and so much more.

Six episodes will be available from Aug. 30.

1. My Life Is Murder

This has immediately become my favorite murder mystery series after watching the screeners. Throughout the month of August, you’ll get five episodes of the new Australian murder mystery dramedy, starring the one and only Lucy Lawless. Yes, Xena is back on our screens.

Lawless is Alexa Crowe, an ex-cop-turned-private eye. She’s smart, funny, and sassy, and certainly not afraid to get her hands dirty. One of the best things is how she works with the police, solving the cold cases instead of the current investigations and potentially getting in the way. She brings the answers that so many individuals have needed.

My Life Is Murder has a strong cast, excellent writing, and beautiful storytelling. You’ll laugh, cry, and go on a mission to solve the mystery with Alexa and her sidekick Madison. Don’t miss the first two episodes premiering on Acorn TV on Aug. 5.
